Primary 2/9/22: It’s so good to see you

Dear Parents and Carers,

The Bible informs us and lets us know that we are created to be in relationships with one another as humans.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

The past few years it has been challenging due to the restrictions being enforced from COVID. Throughout Term 3, families have been encouraged to be a part of their child’s life here at school. It has been wonderful seeing you all on a more regular basis. That may be supporting the staff on excursions, enjoying various sporting activities, being a part of schooling events, or celebrating at our weekly assemblies.

Here are some photos of the families who have enjoyed their time in Primary School recently, and we look forward to this continuing to happen over the rest of this year!

Kind regards,

Mrs Gillian Coote
Primary Deputy Principal

Reminders

Start of the School Day

School starts at 8:40 am, so please have your child/ren school by 8:35 am. If they arrive any time after 8:40 am, they will receive a late note

End of the School Day

School finishes at 3:00 pm. If your child is in car lines, they need to be picked up by 3:30 pm. If you are running late, they will be escorted to OOSH, which is in the blue building at the front of the school.

Label Uniforms

We have several unlabelled uniforms here at school. Please make sure all your child’s clothes are clearly labelled, so that they can easily be returned.

Students Late to School

If you receive a notification that your child has arrived late to school, you must provide a reason behind this. Please be aware that “late” does not explain why, so more information would be required.

Holidays During Term Time

Some of our families are enjoying a holiday during term time. If you intend on doing so and your child will be absent from school for three days or more, you will be required to complete an Application for Extended Leave. At least two weeks before your family departs, can you please contact the Primary Office to receive this form?
