The Fun Fair has always been a highlight on the Carey calendar thanks to Caroline Young and Kylie Adams who ran the very first Fun Fair and started the tradition! To see the return of the Fair this year and carry on their legacy has been a privilege.
To work with outstanding staff and volunteers that are generous, creative, knowledgeable, and kind is a joy! Thank you for turning up, bringing your family and friends along and making it another great community celebration!
When I got home on Saturday night my family were sitting around the fire pit. Careful not to singe my tutu, I joined them and loved hearing how they had spent their allocated spending money on the food, markets, glitter, and scones, and how much fun they had on the rides, seeing the animals, and being with their friends. It made me happy.
Thanks to our great God for what He has done at Carey over the last 40 years, for the sunshine on Saturday, His protection over us and abundant blessings!
